This role will require excellent Man management, KPI management and influencing skills. The role requires a clear communication style and good system skills therefore you must be IT literate having used WMS previously and preferably in a time critical operation.

Personality is important here, it’s valued and required ! as this is a busy warehousing and distribution environment delivering next day orders, so a sense of humour goes a long way !

The company are looking for an operator who can make operational decisions as the successful candidate will be the most senior member of the management team on nights, my Client needs a hands on manager who is solutions orientated and drives productivity and performance in a way that engages the team

Permanent Role

Salary: £40,000 /year DOE

Working Nights 20:00 – 04:00

Some basic details for you:

* Health & Safety: To consistently ensure that all training is up-to-date and all risks and hazards are promptly identified and resolved to ensure that all colleagues are provided a safe, clean environment to work in, prevention is key

* Site standards/Housekeeping: Continuous focus required (Clean as you go)

* Quality assurance & pick accuracy: Accuracy actions to be closed and the appropriate steps taken to record, correct and retrain if required

* Manage SO’S (Shortages) to ensure our warehouse performance target is achieved daily, our KPI target is set at minimum of 99.6%: We still have daily reports of some lines being located, further training is needed for whoever is completing SO investigations is a must

* 1-2-1’S / Performance management: Managing all of your team members from Supervisors to warehouse colleagues so the expectation and targets are clear and the minimum performance requirement is met daily

* Setting clear objectives to your management team to gain consistency: Break down areas of responsibility for each of your managers

* Load performance and standards: Consolidation and pallet balance focus for high QA

* Conformation on tasks & Communications: Maintaining high communications to all audiences within the business

* Supervisors & team leaders responsibilities: Managing your team of supervisors and team leaders to ensure that our expected standards are met

* Performance 1- 2- 1 reviews: Ensuring that prompt performance reviews are carried out when there is an clear indication that our minimum performance targets are not being met, also for you to ensure that every member of you team has a 1-2-1 review completed every two months

* Security: To conduct staff searches and support site security

* Training: Ensuring that all training is managed in a timely manner this will be both for iHasco and site SSOW/ Risk assessments

* Incident reporting: Providing information to understand the corrective actions taken and steps put in place for prevention

* Delivery service: Obtaining all required operational knowledge to have confidence in Managing and delivering the pick shift, safely and productively ensuring that all operational costs are met
