PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As our Stockroom Assistant you play an important part in ensuring optimal stock within the shop, both in the stockroom and in the store itself inline with company procedures and expectations.
HOURS PER WEEK
30 hours – flexibility is required throughout the week including Saturday and Sunday.
As our Stockroom Assistant you will maximise the availability of all products (right product at the right time) within the shop in accordance with all stock procedures. You will advise the Shop Manager and the support teams to reach optimal sales results.
You will be responsible for stock management including accepting deliveries, booking the stock on and replenishing the shop floor. Will also assist with stock and PI counts.
You ensure that the stock locations look clean and tidy at all times whilst also taking responsibility for store deliveries. You are an example to your colleagues and report to the Shop Manager who emphasises your development and acts as your mentor.
· Previous experience in a retail stock assistant position
· Previous experience managing stock
· Strong and authentic communication skills
· Flexible employability; our stores have ample opening hours, you want and can work weekdays and weekends.
· Honesty, against yourself and others; this also includes integrity
You are keen to be the ‘best in class’ within your profession. You are flexible, pro-active and you enjoy creating meaningful moments for our customers. Furthermore you are a team player and prepared to work during the weekend and busy times like the Christmas period.
· Additionally due to the daily requirements of the role will need to be able to lift heavy boxes and comfortable using ladders.
