This role – This is a Fixed Term contract until 31st March 2021
As a Revenues Advisor at MTVH you will deliver a consistent, reliable and excellent customer focused service, to ensure that all customers adhere to their contract conditions rent, service charges and other payment and that appropriate recovery action is taken where necessary. To maximise rental and other income and arrange affordable payment plans with our home owner customers.
What you’ll need to succeed
You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate clearly and persuasively.
You should be self-motivated, positive person with a can-do attitude and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting challenging arrears and rent collection targets as well as contributing to the wider work of the Revenues Team.
You will take ownership of customer queries and see them through to a successful resolution
You will ensure performance and compliance against agreed standards, measures and targets
You will be familiar and keep up-to-date with legislative and regulatory requirements for rent and service charges. You will maximise income from rents and/or service charges by ensuring prompt payment of all income due.
Computer skills, ideally within a housing management system and an understanding of working in debt recovery or for a registered social landlord, local authority or voluntary sector organisation is essential.
