We are recruiting for a PR Account Manager in the Solihull area with our well established client.

As a PR Account Manager in you will need to have:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Previous experience of working within PR and internal communications
  • Knowledge on social media communication strategies
  • People/account management experience
  • Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics

Details:

  • Salary: up to £35,000 per annum
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-17:00 (one hour for lunch)
  • Location: Solihull
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a PR Account Manager:

  • Writing blogs and press releases, columns, reports and media interviews
  • Responding to media enquiries
  • Develop a proactive publicity campaign
  • Act as internal and external communications resource
  • Develop external and internal communication strategies
  • Ensure consistent and coordinated approach in all political and media messaging
  • Create PR plans and campaigns (Inc. customer communications and brand websites)
  • Creation of media relations programmes (press releases, blogs, columns, reports, media interviews)
  • Accounts manage various group brands
  • Support the investor relations activity programme by attending meetings and developing presentations
  • Keep senior management and executive up to date with industry related news and information by monitoring social media and reviewing/evaluating reports and research
  • Act as media spokesperson, respond to press enquiries, draft positioning statements, arrange media interviews and attend journalist briefings
  • Manage the groups twitter account along with other social media channels
  • Occasionally do a brief media monitoring update on a weekend
  • Responsible for the groups corporate website (Editorial and development)
  • Contribute when required to the internal communications strategy
  • Be aware of the Group’s risk framework, reporting incidents as appropriate
