Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a Payroll Team Leader on a 6 month initial contract.
You will be required to to manage, motivate and develop a team of Payroll Officers ensuring the delivery of an effective and efficient internal transactional payroll service. You will provide effective leadership to your team as well as develop and improve processes and procedures, ensure service meets KPI standards, identify areas for improvement, support the ongoing development of new modules of the payroll system and build effective relationships across the business.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading a payroll service with up to date knowledge of HMRC and pension regulations. You will also have experience of using an integrated HR/Payroll system, preferably iTrent. Experience of managing customer relations is essential as well as experience identifying and making improvements.
