Corporate Commercial Associate
Our client has an exclusive opportunity for a Corporate Commercial Solicitor in Greater Manchester. They’re looking for a professional with 5 – 8 years’ PQE, and are offering a competitive salary, a great work-life balance and excellent benefits. You’ll be based at their fantastic offices in the vibrant town centre of Altrincham once it’s deemed safe to do so.
As an experienced and committed solicitor you’ll have a proven record of excellence in service quality and the ability to work collaboratively and independently. You’ll also have experience in drafting and negotiating IP and commercial contracts and documentation, as well as an understanding of clients’ needs and expectations.
As part of the corporate commercial team, you will be helping to provide the highest level of strategic advice to a broad portfolio of commercial organisations.
Typical Commercial Solicitor duties will include:
? Mergers, acquisitions and disposals.
? Due diligence and disclosure.
? Investment agreements and shareholder agreements.
? Share restructuring, share options (including EMIs), and company formation and administration.
? IT and E-Commerce & Telecoms contracts.
This legal position will suit a commercial solicitor with good academic background and training who is looking to develop their legal career further. Corporate Commercial Solicitor candidates are required to have exceptional knowledge of corporate law and must also have some experience in, or a willingness to undertake commercial work.
The successful candidate will conduct their work and support lead fee earners, predominantly working on a wide range of corporate matters but may also be involved in some commercial issues, providing high-quality advice representing a leading law firm.
