The Isle of Man is in the process of creating Manx Care – a new organisation which will be responsible for the delivery of health and social care services for the people of the Isle of Man.

We are now looking for an experienced leader to join as Chief Executive Officer.

The Island has a small, yet highly complex health and care system and this role will give you the unique opportunity to develop, deliver and lead this integrated, high quality service for our Island population.

In this strategic and high-profile role you will be responsible for leading Manx Care on a day to day basis, and for driving forward the ongoing comprehensive transformational change, to enable the delivery of the right services, by the right people at the right time. By being part of this ongoing transformational work, you can play a pivotal role in creating a truly integrated health and social care system for the Isle of Man.

About the Island and relocating

The Isle of Man is the ideal place to live and work, combining breath-taking unspoiled scenery, superb leisure facilities, with excellent links to the UK and Ireland.

With a population of around 83,000, the island has a lot to offer, and living here you benefit from:

Who are we looking for?

You’ll need extensive experience of operating at a strategic level, as well as of managing and embedding successful organisational change within a health or social care environment.
