Would you like the opportunity to manage a prestigious 300,000 Sq Ft multi tenanted commercial building

Do you have experience of managing an array of corporate clientele, whilst delivering a 5* FM service provision across both hard and soft services on Trophy Buildings in London?

I am currently recruiting for an exciting new position for an exceptional Building Manager to head up the FM services on a 300,000 Sq Ft, Trophy, Multi Tenanted commercial and residential Brand New Building Near Waterloo, London

You must be resilient, assertive and technically astute.

Person Specification:

* Extensive Experience of working as a Building Services Manager/ M&E Manager
* Electrical or HVAC background
* A very strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Packages
* Experience in total site management as well as a proven track record of leading multiple discipline teams
* Experience in the M&E Building services sector and a working knowledge of the operational activities and trade skills
* Excellent presentations and communications skills and have proficient problem solving skills. It is crucial that you have the ability to work well under pressure, the confidence to make decisive decisions and experience in meeting tight deadlines
* Hold a relevant formal qualification or have progressed through a relevant construction trade or be a member of a Professional Institution relating to M&E Building Services and to have held a position as an “HV/LV Authorised Person”
* Thorough technical knowledge, plus relevant experience, of the operation and maintenance of critical building services as described in the key responsibilities of the role section

Maintaining a safe environment with proper lighting, signage, and disability access
* Drafting and updating emergency plans and evacuation procedures
* Overseeing security, fire prevention, and other safety systems
* Scheduling regular building maintenance and janitorial services
* Contracting professionals for repairs as needed
* Ensuring that occupants are provided with proper utilities
* Monitoring building maintenance budgets
* Arranging for building improvements
* Overseeing contractors and inspecting completed jobs
* Hiring employees or contractors as needed to maintain, repair, or improve the property
* Providing training for building employees as needed
* Evaluating employee performance and providing direction, correction, or additional training to ensure proper maintenance of the building

THE SUITABLE APPLICANT MUST HOLD ELECTRICAL QUALIFICATIONS SUCH AS C&G OR NVQ MIN LEVEL 3 ANY ADDITIONAL WOULD BE ADVENTAGEOUS

The successful candidate will have 5 + years experience in a similar role with service charge budget experience and previous experience of working on a multi tenanted commercial building, preferably in a Managing Agent capacity

* MBIFM – Member Of BIFM
* IOSH/ Nebosh certificate
