Behaviour Support Assistant l Special Needs School l Leeds

Celsian Education are working with a successful Special Needs School based in Leeds who are looking for positive Behaviour Support Workers to start immediately for at least the next school term and possibly longer.

Are you passionate about supporting the learning of all students? Can you help to create a positive environment for vulnerable young people?

This rewarding role will involve providing support to small groups of students, providing internal cover, supporting pupils on a one to one basis and assisting class teachers.

The school has 2 sites across Leeds and caters for students aged 3 to 19 years old who have Special Educational Needs such as Autism and ADHD, therefore relevant previous experience supporting SEND students and managing challenging behaviours is essential.

To be successful in this Behaviour Support role you will need;

· Experience supporting young people with Special Needs
· Strong behaviour management
· Excellent communication skills
· A flexible approach and positive attitude
